Crazy Taxi was one of those games you simply pick up and play. Copy rights do differ the soundtracks across versions. You get what was the arcade game. But also a new version of the game called Original Mode. You even have a mini game mode that offers a little variety. This still among the most fun driving games I ever played. It's so satisfying to rank great in this. You also got some interesting cheats you can play with. You could get more money depending on which color customers are. I had this on several platforms it just never gets old or boring. Playing this is like one hell of a party. You never ever want it to stop!!! It's truly among the most fun Sega games I ever played. I'm still a bit sad of it's recent delisting myself. I do think people would absolutely love this game. It could sell well on GOG especially during sales.
This game is such an underrated gem. It has great characters, addicting gameplay, an amazing soundtrack, and it needs to be freed from mobile hell and put on mobile consoles!

I wish I could say this is "one of those games you simply pick up and play" but XboxClown beat me to it. It's true though, I was in no way a gamer when I first played it, I had no love at all for car games, but Crazy Taxi pulled me in instantly. It's very fun, the soundtrack is great, and the gameplay is simple but engaging enough not to let you get bored easily. For people who played this back in the day, I bet it'll immediately take you back to much simpler and happier times as soon as you hear the first song. A real gem <3
I used to play Crazy Taxi with my wife, and we don't often find common ground in gaming. This was a fun game that both of us would enjoy, and I will have The Offspring music forever burned into my brain, along with the imagery of driving a taxi, both music and car flying at impossibly breakneck speeds. It's impossible to not have fun.
One of those games you can pick up and play anytime. The more you play it, the better you want to become. You start learning some new tricks and when you get good with them, you feel like a true champ. It feels crazy good to get good in this game.
I bought this game on Steam a few months ago because Sega announced that they were going to remove a lot of their old games from the platforms (I don't know if they'll bring them back later through a better compilation), which makes a lot of games much less accessible. And it's a shame because this game, with its fairly simple and surprisingly addictive gameplay and the Offsprings music, really makes you want to come back to it from time to time.
The first time i played this gem was in a local arcade room. I didn't have any idea what is was getting into. The music, the crazyness, the driving, it was mesmerizing and frantic at the same time. By a few hours i forget about the world because of this game and his very simple objective: pick up, drive and reach the destination in time. Few games like this can be very chilling and awesome at the same time. Make it happen, GOG, i have complete faith in you!

It was probably around 2005; I picked up a cheap Sega Dreamcast console from a car boot sale. It came with only 1 game, Crazy Taxi. This game was so much fun to play that I was instantly hooked and played it at every opportunity for weeks. The game is so colourful and the soundtrack gives it so much energy. I picked up the PC version on CD-ROM from another car boot sale a couple years back. Sadly it would not run on my modern PC. My Dreamcast also died a while back so if I ever saw it on GOG I would definitely buy it.

Snipes
SnipesSnipes is an arcade style action game. You are in a large maze along with a number of generators. The generators create the enemy Snipes, and to win the game you need to shoot all of the generators and all of the Snipes they create. The game is played using two sets of four keys, one set to move and one to fire; this allows you to both move and fire in eight different directions, and you aren't limited to firing in the same direction you are facing (similar to the controls in games such as Robotron: 2084). The Snipes are armed as well, and will be firing back at you! If you lose all of your lives, the game ends and the Snipes win. There are numerous skill levels available; in the higher levels the snipes are more numerous, more aggressive, and the maze walls become deadly to touch.

Krakout
KrakoutArkanoid-style Breakout clone, which unlike most other similar games has the bat on the side of the screen (there is a left/right option) instead of at the bottom. There are a number of types of special bricks, but unlike e.g. Arkanoid, they do not fall towards the bat. Instead, when you hit a special brick, it flips to show a letter. E.g. E (Extend bat), C (Catch ball), M (Missile), B (Bomb, explodes when hit by ball, clearing a number of bricks) and X (Extra life). The enemies/obstacles are more varied than in Arkanoid. Some make the bat freeze, some actually chew and eat your ball and spit out the core back at you!

Racing Destruction Set
Racing Destruction SetAn isometric racing game that sets itself apart by the large number of customizable options. The game comes with 50 built-in tracks, and the intuitive editor makes for infinite variety of races. Modify the existing ones or create one yourself. Set up sharp curves, crossovers, jumps (set the height), track width and more. Then set the track width and choose either ice, dirt or pavement for the surface. As if it weren't enough, gravity can also be modified, from a Moon-like low to a crushing Jupiter-like high that will keep your car glued to the ground, even after a jump. Once the track is laid out, race in either a beat up VW Beetle, a stock car, a dirt bike, a Porsche and even a Lunar Rover. Each car has it's own characteristics and you can also choose tires and engine sizes, according to the track you're about to race in. Also, equip your cars with land mines or oil slicks to make the race more interesting. The game allows single-player against a computer opponent, or a two-player race, both in split-screen form.
