Crazy Taxi was one of those games you simply pick up and play. Copy rights do differ the soundtracks across versions. You get what was the arcade game. But also a new version of the game called Original Mode. You even have a mini game mode that offers a little variety. This still among the most fun driving games I ever played. It's so satisfying to rank great in this. You also got some interesting cheats you can play with. You could get more money depending on which color customers are. I had this on several platforms it just never gets old or boring. Playing this is like one hell of a party. You never ever want it to stop!!! It's truly among the most fun Sega games I ever played. I'm still a bit sad of it's recent delisting myself. I do think people would absolutely love this game. It could sell well on GOG especially during sales.
This game is such an underrated gem. It has great characters, addicting gameplay, an amazing soundtrack, and it needs to be freed from mobile hell and put on mobile consoles!
I wish I could say this is "one of those games you simply pick up and play" but XboxClown beat me to it. It's true though, I was in no way a gamer when I first played it, I had no love at all for car games, but Crazy Taxi pulled me in instantly. It's very fun, the soundtrack is great, and the gameplay is simple but engaging enough not to let you get bored easily. For people who played this back in the day, I bet it'll immediately take you back to much simpler and happier times as soon as you hear the first song. A real gem <3
I used to play Crazy Taxi with my wife, and we don't often find common ground in gaming. This was a fun game that both of us would enjoy, and I will have The Offspring music forever burned into my brain, along with the imagery of driving a taxi, both music and car flying at impossibly breakneck speeds. It's impossible to not have fun.
One of those games you can pick up and play anytime. The more you play it, the better you want to become. You start learning some new tricks and when you get good with them, you feel like a true champ. It feels crazy good to get good in this game.
I bought this game on Steam a few months ago because Sega announced that they were going to remove a lot of their old games from the platforms (I don't know if they'll bring them back later through a better compilation), which makes a lot of games much less accessible.
And it's a shame because this game, with its fairly simple and surprisingly addictive gameplay and the Offsprings music, really makes you want to come back to it from time to time.

Black Rock Shooter: The GameBlack Rock Shooter: The Game is an action role-playing game and based on the Black Rock Shooter franchise created by Huke. The players take on the role of the eponymous Black Rock Shooter. The game is divided into several missions in which the player must clear objectives to progress. On the main overworld, BRS can explore the available areas and look for certain items. Battles begin when the player comes into contact with an enemy on the overworld. During a battle, BRS can aim and shoot with her rock cannon at enemies, block against attacks, and sidestep to avoid them completely. If the player fires the rock cannon or uses the sidestep too much in a short time, the system will overheat, leaving the player vulnerable to attack until it cools down. Throughout the game, players can earn abilities that can be equipped to BRS and used in battle, each with their own cooldown periods. NASCAR ArcadeNASCAR Arcade is a stock car racing game and the first NASCAR game to be made for the arcades. It's officially licensed through Electronic Arts (who had the license at the time) and is based on the 1999 Winston Cup series. There are three different race tracks to choose from each with a different difficulty level: Talladega Superspeedway, Richmond International Raceway and Watkins Glen International. A secret Team SEGA track exist too but it's not made available until 700 races have been made on the machine. Before racing the player can choose from real life cars and drivers that all have different strengths and weaknesses. The cars included are Pontiac Grand Prix, Ford Taurus, Chevrolet Monte Carlo and Pontiac Firebird while there are more than 30 drivers to choose from.
The game can be played from a first person perspective or several different third person views. It's possible to choose automatic or manual transmission. The objective of the game is to race against the clock and reach a top three position and the finish line before the time runs out. By climbing up to a certain position the player can get a time extension. In time attack or multiplayer the player needs to finish a lap to get a time extension. A race ends when the time is up or if the player reaches the finish line. The multiplayer mode can be played by up to eight players.
