Knights of LegendKnights of Legend is set in the fantasy land of Ashtalarea. The evil Pildar has captured the ruler of the land, known as the Duke, and a warrior named Seggallion, who has fought and defeated Pildar in the past. The player controls a party of adventurers whose quest is to rescue the prisoners, and eventually vanquish Pildar.
The player can create a party of adventurers, choosing between the traditional races of humans, dwarves, and elves, as well as a new race called Keldar, who possesses the power of flight. The game world is explored from top-down perspective. Turn-based combat takes place on separate screens. The combat system in the game is quite complex, including various types of attacks, parrying and dodging, as well as the possibility of targeting individual body parts of enemies. Arcturus is a Korean-made role-playing game in Japanese style, similar to Grandia II in visual presentation. The player can choose between two prologues chapters (either Elluard's or Sizz's), after which the two stories converge. There is no overworld in the game, and areas are interconnected. Battles take place in the same environment as exploration, and are turn-based. The player can navigate characters on the battle field and also take their speed rankings into account, as executions of attacks and other moves depends on them.
Magic can be learned by certain characters and is divided into four elements: Water, Air, Earth, and Fire. Casting spells requires a certain amount of real time when in combat. Characters learn new spells by repeatedly using available ones in the correspondent category. Those who do not have access to magic can execute various special attacks with their own separate point gauges. In addition to HP, characters also have "barrier points", which are reduced first when enemies damage them.Action
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom PainMetal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is the sequel to Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and a prequel to the original Metal Gear. The game has a complex story with long cut-scene sequences, but there are fewer and they are shorter compared to earlier Metal Gear Solid titles. Most of the gameplay mechanics introduced in Ground Zeroes are carried over: it is still an action game and stealth oriented but replaces the linear corridor design from most earlier titles with large open world environments that offer the player unrestricted freedom for the approach.
