When I first introduced my son to gaming, he struggled with most games. It's hard to play at 5 or 6 when the game is more complicated than "push stick that way and mash some buttons." With Cat Quest 2, though, the gameplay was easy enough, the story very cute, and it was multiplayer, so I could carry him through the game. It became one of his favorite games of all time, so cue his excitement when he learned of a Cat Quest 3, with pirates! We played it, he loved it ("Dad, do you know what happens when you attack the duck? Go attack it!). This was the game he used to introduce my daugher to gaming. I'd love to add it to my game archive as a forever game, so we can always return to it.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by SleepBirth by Sleep is an action roleplaying game that introduces a gameplay aspect called the Command System, which allows players to customize a Command Deck with techniques and abilities that they can perform at will, called Deck Commands. Performing ordinary attacks and Commands fills a gauge displayed above the command deck that, when certain requirements are fulfilled, activates a Command Style that changes the player's basic attack command with the "Surge" command, which racks up powerful combos depending on what Command Style is activated. Filling the gauge with certain requirements a second time causes the character to change into an even higher level Command Style, which replaces the "Surge" command with the more powerful "Storm" command.Action
Silent Hill: Mobile 3Silent Hill: Mobile 3 is the final mobile game in a trilogy that began in Silent Hill: Orphan and takes place in a mansion where the dark secrets of the town finally will be revealed. At some occasions the player will have to fight against different monsters, and when that happens the cursor will be transformed into a crosshair allowing the player to aim and shoot. Monster Hunter Frontier OnlineMonster Hunter Frontier is an online MMORPG on the PC and Xbox 360 with a great amount of new weapons, quests, armor, and monsters. The game will continue to expand with new content added through patches. There is currently a Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Taiwan and Macau) version of Frontier. The game has a built-in IP blocker that prevents IP addresses outside of Japan from connecting to the server, but it is still possible for residents in other countries to connect. The Korean Frontier requires a KSSN (Korean Social Security Number) in order to play but it does not carry the same monthly fee as the Japanese version.Action Fantasy
