Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles is one of the most underrated and essential collections in the Castlevania franchise. Released for the PSP in 2007, this bundle is more than just a remake—it’s a celebration of Castlevania's finest moments. It features a full 2.5D remake of Rondo of Blood, unlockable versions of the original Rondo of Blood, and the legendary Castlevania: Symphony of the Night—all in one incredible package.
The remake adds beautiful new visuals, voice acting, and animated cutscenes while preserving the tight gameplay of the original. I had this on the PSP back when it was new. It included the Rondo of Blood remake, the Rondo of Blood Original (Unlockable), and Symphony of the Night (Also Unlockable). I would love to be able to pick this up on PC and give it another go. It would be a great way to have these games on PC and GOG than through this Chronicles Collection.
One of the best and criminally underrated remakes of all time. A great 2.5D revamp of Rondo of Blood packed with a remastered Symphony of the Night is the best deal any Castlevania fan could ask for.
