This game made friendships for me. The couch co op, the vs modes, the everything. Unique characters, setting, the unusual darkness to its themes for the time, truly a vision. A core memory of my childhood, I miss it dearly.

i've played this with my brother, it was a fun and enjoyable game, i just dont know how to describe it, like the story was what got me sticking to it, and during that time the visuals and eveyrthing was like so new to me, and i think its also the first game that introduced me to third person shooter, i do wish this game would come back in gog, as i just wanna experience that feeling again, though even if my brother doesnt wanna play it anymore, atleast i get to somewhat finish the game as i never finished it after our original xbox broke
This was my first game for the original xbox, my brother and I would play the hell out this game back in the day. There was something about the atmosphere and music that you don't get any more in these new games, I wish to play this one day with my kids.
Man, my memories of playing this game are like a fever dream. The main thing I remember about it the most is being able to play as some kinda bestial jacked alligator dude, Duke Nukem's off-brand cousin, and two hot chicks; I thought it was the coolest game ever. The split screen co-op was super fun, and just running around shooting and blowing things up like it's 2003 all over again without a care in the world is a feeling I'd love to re-experience. There's some kind of euphoric, almost mindless and arcade-like simplicity about games of this era—but most importantly, they were just plain fun—that's something that just isn't the same in modern games that place so much emphasis on checklist busywork. I yearn for the days when games were just about mindless action, running around blasting fools with a friend, sibling, cousin, or whoever for no other purpose than the pure fun and enjoyment of the game. It seems that this game has been absolutely forgotten about, but I hope to see it resurface someday on PC!

Me and my best friend Emitt would play this game, and all i think about is wishing i could be that young again. Remembering it feels like such a fever dream with that and halo 2. Man y2k was the best...
Man, I remember playing this on the OG Xbox and seeing the character cut scenes for the first time, loved the gameplay and the unique characters, would love to see this on GOG so I can play it again! :)

Valkyria Chronicles 3: Unrecorded Chronicles
Valkyria Chronicles 3: Unrecorded ChroniclesSenjou no Valkyria 3: Unrecorded Chronicles, usually referred to as Valkyria Chronicles III, is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Sega for the PlayStation Portable. It is the third game in the Valkyria Chronicles series and was released on January 27, 2011 exclusively in Japan. An expanded version of the game, subtitled Extra Edition was released in Japan on November 23, 2011. The game features an opening song Moshimo Kimi ga Negau no Nara sung by Japanese singer May'n. Occurring in the same time frame as the first game, Valkyria Chronicles III is a side story that follows the exploits of an unwanted and castigated Gallian Army squad during the Imperial invasion of 1935. Contrasting the previous games' bright outlook and recognition for their protagonists, Valkyria Chronicles III explores the themes of being outcast and the search for redemption. As described by its catchphrase, the game tells "The tale of nameless soldiers who, on the verge of despair, changed history." The game was the first in the series to not officially be translated into English by Sega. However, an unofficial fan translation for the Extra Edition was eventually released in December 2013.
