Bloody Roar 4 (2003)

by Eighting, Hudson Soft, Konami
Genres:Fighting
Themes:Fantasy
Game modes:Single player, Multiplayer
Story:During the XGC (X-Genome Code) Incident one year ago, riots raged over the earth by beasts that did not show the XCG, and all over the country small earthquakes shook the land. The cause was unknown, but as the Crest Incident came to an end and the rioting and earthquakes subsided, people began to claim that all was due to the influence of the Stone Seal. Although the Stone Seal has been locked away, the rioting and earthquakes have returned. This time, the incidents are on a larger scale than those of a year ago. What could be behind it all? Bloody Roar 4 is the last title in the series, and is once again a full-3D fighting game featuring the series' trademark transformation abilities. Unlike previous titles in the series, the beast gauge now acts as its own health bar; if a character's health gauge is depleted, they will automatically transform. The game features 18 playable fighters and a variety of game modes, including standard arcade, versus, time-attack, training, and survival modes. Of special mention is the career mode, in which fighting battles will earn so-called "DNA points," which can be spent on abilities and equipment to customize a character for use in other modes.Show more

The Rumble Fish 2
The Rumble Fish 2The Rumble Fish 2 is a sequel to Dimps' 2004 fighting game, The Rumble Fish. After developing many licensed fighters, The Rumble Fish series was Dimps' first real foray into a 2D competitive fighter which paved the way for their eventual hand in Street Fighter IV & V's development. The game has never seen an official console release and was originally only available on Atomiswave hardware, but in 2012 an updated version was released on the NesicaxLive distribution system in arcades. In November 2020 the Atomiswave version was unofficially ported to the Dreamcast by yzb, allowing players to play the game on physical hardware without having to acquire an actual arcade board. The game features unique vector animations, many complex and engaging system mechanics, and a strong cast of characters with varied and interesting playstyles. Combined with its open-ended chain combo system, The Rumble Fish 2 a fun game to pick up and learn but has enough intricacies to entice those looking for something deeper.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Mighty Morphin Power RangersMighty Morphin Power Rangers is a video game for the Sega CD console. It was produced by Sega TruVideo and released by Sega in US and Europe in 1994. The game consists mostly of footage from nine episodes of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series, which featured footage from Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger. Gameplay requires the player to press certain buttons at precise moments throughout the game as they appear on screen. If the player misses, the health meter will drop. However, there are points in the game where the player can press a button unprompted for extra points. At the end of each level, the player's progress is tallied. The points earned will be used to refill the player's health meter and can even score an extra life. Footage from episodes of the television series was used for the game. This footage was heavily cut down for disc space and level length. As a result, the five-part "Green With Evil" serial was turned into four small segments for the game. The game has a total of ten levels. Levels six and seven are playable only on normal and hard modes, and levels eight, nine, and ten are playable only on hard mode.
