Story:Blood Wake is a naval combat video game that was released in 2001 on the Xbox as part of Microsoft's initial wave of Xbox launch titles. The game was developed by Stormfront Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios. Set in an Asian-themed fictional world, Blood Wake is a story-driven, mission-based high seas action game in which the player controls a series of small fighting vessels. Some reviewers described its gameplay as "Twisted Metal on water," although its mission-based story line differentiated Blood Wake from Twisted Metal's arena-based gameplay.Show more

I remember spending hours upon hours playing this game as a kid. There's really not any other game like this that I know of, guess this type of boat combat never really took off? A shame really, this game is remarkably fun. Quickly swapping between weapons while they're on cooldown to maximize your damage is something I'll never get tired of, and the water physics in this game are incredible. This game deserves a second life, a PC port would be a dream come true.

Played this a lot on Xbox with friends. Water games don't get enough recognition. Physics were phenomenal and water combat was fun. PC port with controller support would be a must buy.

True Crime: Streets of LA
True Crime: Streets of LATrue Crime: Streets of LA is a free-roaming driving and action game similar in concept to Grand Theft Auto III. The game's structure is mission-based; most of the missions are dictated by the story and initiate following a cutscene that advances it. Failing a mission still allows the player to continue playing through the chapter and undertake subsequent missions; in some cases this will lead to branching paths and optional missions. However, in order to complete the whole chapter the player must eventually succeed in all the main missions.

Midtown Madness
Midtown MadnessMidtown Madness (also known as Midtown Madness: Chicago Edition) is a racing game developed for Windows by Angel Studios (now Rockstar San Diego) and published by Microsoft. The demo version was released via download on May 1, 1999 and the completed game was released toward the end of May 1999.[1] Two sequels followed, with Midtown Madness 2 released in September 2000 and Midtown Madness 3 released in June 2003 for the Xbox. The game is set in Chicago and its objective is to win street races and obtain new cars. Unlike racing games that restrict the player to a race track, Midtown Madness offers an open world recreation of Chicago. This setting was said to provide "an unprecedented degree of freedom to drive around in a virtual city".[2] Players can explore the city via one of several modes, and can determine the weather and traffic conditions for each race. The game supports multiplayer races over a local area network or the Internet. The game received generally positive reviews from gaming websites.[3]

One Must Fall: 2097
One Must Fall: 2097Welcome to One Must Fall 2097. This game is an action-fighting game similar to Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat but it has a much more to offer. Once you're into the game, you choose your pilot. Each pilot has different strengths and weaknesses. You may want one that is faster, or that can take a punch or two, or one that just looks good. Each pilot needs a good vehicle, or a robot in this case. You fight other piloted robots. For victory, You gain money, for money, You can buy some upgrades and beat more robots. The economy part of this game is really simple :-), but gives new experience from a simple fighting game. In the background story of the robot-fighting games are multinational corporations. One such corporation, World Aeronautics and Robotics (WAR), runs the entire show. WAR was started as a research institute to provide human-assisted robots for space travel. Their first prototypes were activated in 2009 and were immediately put to use by a conglomeration of companies from Japanamerica to build the first ACTIVE space station. The HAR's were better than conventional robots in that they were completely operated by a single human whose brain controlled the robot's systems via remote. The "pilot" actually "became" the robot for all intents and purposes, but no danger to the pilot was possible. At the end of 21st century You have a chance to write history. You've waited for this night since you were a child. Fifteen years of training will be used tonight. The main prize is waiting...
