Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is one of those games that grabbed me from the very first moment and never let go. You start on this little Greek island, just wandering around, exploring ruins, climbing everything in sight — and before you know it, you're the captain of your own badass ship with a crew that sings ancient shanties while you sail across the Aegean Sea. And damn, that ship becomes your home.
What made it unforgettable for me was how alive the world felt. You don’t just visit ancient Greece — you live in it. The cities, the mountains, the temples, the myths... everything is so beautifully crafted that you almost forget you're sitting in front of a screen. And when you start running into mythical creatures later on? Man, it’s like the game says, “Yeah, you thought this was just history? Think again.”
I’m nominating it for GOG because this game deserves to live forever. Odyssey is more than just a game — it’s an epic, a legend, something you want to return to years down the line. GOG’s support for future-proof gaming is exactly what we need to make sure masterpieces like this one don’t get lost to time or software updates. I want to know that even in a decade, I can boot it up, hear that ship crew start singing, and sail back into the adventure like no time has passed.
