The first video game I ever played was 18 Wheels of Steel: Hard Truck from SCS Software that I had picked up in the DVD section of OfficeDepo as a kid. I bought American Truck Simulator recently and it brought back memories of sitting in late night San Fransisco traffic in my big rig. I loved the scenery and also being able to play my own music on the in-game radio. I want this game on GOG because it's another fun game that I wish I could play without Steam.

The game has 4 modes of play: the championship season mode, the exhibition race, time trials, and the challenge mode. R and Z are used to shift gears, the analog stick is used to steer the car, A is the accelerator and B is the brake. The C-buttons allow for camera changes and backmirror views. It's pretty much the same setup and how these work are pretty much unchanged from the first game to the second.Action
