It features a new storyline and characters while still maintaining the core elements of the survival horror genre. Got this on the 360 when it was released, remember reading so much about the fire psychics and thinking how awesome it was that the fires spread so impressively and that wooden doors and similar things crumbled broke. The story was confusing, but I found it interesting how the like movie cut "previously this happened thing" was implemented, I had not seen a game do that before

I'd just like to mention there's a separate entry in GOG's Dreamlist for the definitive version of the game released only for PS3, Alone in the Dark: INFERNO, which fixed the most egregious bugs of the original and added extra content, including a new inventory system. Wouldn't it be cool to bring that one back? Because the version of the game this entry requests on GOG is already available on Steam, but to play INFERNO legally you'd have to buy an old PS3 and chase an old physical copy of AITD:I.
Love this game. It's janky, yes, but very special and it's a shame there's not a PC version that both runs well on modern PCs and has all the content of the PS3 Inferno release. Correction to the description though, it's a sequel to AITD1-3, not a reboot. The OG timeline is: Alone in the Dark 2, Alone in the Dark (1992), Alone in the Dark 3, Shadow of the Comet, Prisoner of Ice, Alone in the Dark (2008) and finally Alone in the Dark: Illumination. It was Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare and later Alone in the Dark (2024) that were attempts at reboots.
Those games also need your vote!

The home port of Sega's arcade hit where you take control of gigantic, fully armored battle droids and duke it out against other droids in duel-like battles over a set of different arenas. The game boasts 8 fully polygonal droids, each with his own strengths and weapondry and 10 different arenas with their own layout and traps. Proceed through the entire campaign via subjecting yourself to "virtual training" and then facing off for the real thing against the other computer controlled droids, or go against a human opponent in multiplayer combat over Lan, modem, serial link or the same computer with split screen display.

Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy X-2Final Fantasy X-2 is the direct sequel to Final Fantasy X, developed and published by Square Enix. It was the first direct sequel game in the Final Fantasy series and the first to feature an all-female playable cast. It also returned to the job system not seen in the main series since Final Fantasy V. The game uses a character class system where the equipped dressphere determines her abilities and stats. Party members can switch to any dressphere in their Garment Grid to swap to new skills and adapt to different opponents. It makes use of the Active Time Battle system that was absent from Final Fantasy X. The party has access to all locations early on and can visit them through the Celsius, complete several minigames and sidequests in a chapter before progressing through the story to the next one.
