Hi there,
Im very new to all this, so please be patient lol
I got NWN 1 diamond edition about a year ago, and it worked great! I had installed some heads from a trusted friend, and it seemed to work great, but i didnt play much after that (back in July) I tried to play last night but it started to freeze during the loading screens. I could get into the game, but if i tried to go into some of the parts of games (like stores) or the 2nd chapter of the original campaign it would freeze. So bad i would have to manually shut my computer off as the CTRL ALT DEL wouldn't even work.
So i tried the critical patch, and tried moving the override folder stuff out, nothing worked... So eventually I just uninstalled the game (tho i have a copy of the saves and the override folder on my desktop)
Now i cannot install the game from GOG again. I have the gog installer but it keeps saying there are files missing. I have no clue what so ever what to do. The game them tells me to find the setup_neverwinter file when i press "install" after it gives me the "files missing" message.
Can someone give me any input on what to do in a really simplistic and step by step way lol. Sorry , I'm just awful with computers but i love this game!
