Nafe: Why the pedantry?

Weclock: people saying they don't pre-order, a lot of people say "i won't pre-order a game because I won't know if I'll have the money when it's out."
Need to be clear that slapping down the ten dollars got you the FULL game without future hits to your wallet.

Fair enough, but I've not seen that claim on this board. As far as I can tell peoples reasons for not pre-ordering/pre-purchasing is paying for something that you've not even tried.

certainly that's true, but Arkose said specifically that he never pre-orders, and I wanted to make sure that there is no confusion, if a well respected member like Arkose could be confused, it could happen to anybody.
I've never pre-ordered anything, so I wasn't aware that a pre-order was only part of the total purchase price and thus actually a different term from pre-purchase.
In Chile we also depend on the fluctuation of the dollar, the euro and other currencies, which can be good or bad for us. But since we don't depend exclusively from the dollar we can sell the game for the same amount in all regions. That is why we've decided not make a 1 to 1 conversion between euros and dollars. We've tried to keep a similar price between regions. We don't want people in Europe having to pay extra for our game.
The developers asked Steam to do a respectful dollar to euro conversion, one more reason to buy this game !
/beside the fact Zeno Clash is awesome, indie, cheap, original, beautiful, listening to the community, ... :D

Already pre-ordered at the 10 US$ price.
I'll probably have a fair share of fun with it for that much, though I'd probably be more skeptical if I had to pay more for it.
The 50% off deal is over; pre-purchases are now 25% off.
Zeno Clash's preloading will become active on Monday. That is great, I can't wait for this game anymore.

Also If you missed %50 deal, Direct2Drive (worldwide and $9.95) is making same deal until tomorrow, you can buy the game from there and activate it from Steam as well.

thanks for posting, i was sad when i missed the first one
got me some cheap indie!
You're welcome. :)
Cant wait to try it out on Tuesday. I hear its around 5 hours long, but I don't see it as a problem personally. If the gameplay holds up and the story is engaging (I already know that I will like the setting) it should be just fine.
On a side note I'm really glad the indy scene is winning some serious market appeal. Some game ideas will never be explored by game power houses the kind of ideas those guys thrive on. Loving some stuff that came out of GDC. For example, have you guys heard of this one:

5 hours of good gameplay for 8€ is a bargain for me. ^___^
First review from RPS. PERFECT!

Can't wait !
I don't read RPS so I don't know if its their "thing" but transcript as a review was annoying to read.
Glad the game is getting some positive rep though.
Preloading as I write this...looking forward to trying it tomorrow. It has similiar art style as gamebooks of the Fighting Fantasy series, which I freaking loved.
