Just wanted to confirm, if we already bought RD3, will it still appear on our shelf and be available for download after May 29? Or should we be sure to have backup copies on hand?
Crap, I own two of these games and the remaining one is of no interest to me. Shucks.
EDIT: Wait, what the fuck? No more TOCA for anyone else? Jesus Christ in a shitstorm, why not?

You should be fine, since last time when Original War and Operation Flashpoint was removed, people could still redownload the games anyway, but nobody could buy them. But don't get all pissy if it doesn't hold true for this.

I'm pretty sure that GOG are like any other DD service, meaning once you bought it, it's yours. While the game may no longer be sold, people who bought it will always have access to it to download whenever they want.

If you own the game on GOG.com, you will be able to download it after May 29.
Wow, really nice promotion. I'm off to take advantage of it :)
On a different note, what's up with Codemasters catalogue on GOG? First, Operation Flashpoint was removed and now this? Does it have something to do with the fact that the game is selling for 5 bucks more in Steam, GOG can't raise the price, and so Codemasters is pulling the game out?

At a guess, because they can charge $15.00 for it on Steam.

Wow, if it took Codemasters/Steam that long to figure that out since GOG's inception...
If the reason they're pulling it is because of the price, then that's really lame. I'd imagine they would make more by having it in both places?

Or they figure it's a big enough overlap of users here and there, and so many of the users that would've bought it here for $10 will instead buy it there for half again that price.
Well, at least you gave the users advance warning this time. I'm not much into racing games myself (other than Trackmania Nations Forever, and of course Death Rally), but knowing that this is going to disappear still makes me want to buy it.
Well I went ahead and bought it. I would have never bought it from Steam though, and I imagine there are others who feel the same.
Unfortunately what you're saying is probably right though, as otherwise the only option left would be the Starforce'd retail version.
TBH, going-away sales are the worst kind of sales.

From what we know it's a global licensing issue for this game. There's nothing wrong with Codemasters catalogue on GOG.com, don't worry :)
Awww, that is no good! +1 (or more) for letting us know it will be going, rather than just yanking it from the catalogue. Promo or no promo, it is getting rare that digital-distribution companies will do this nowadays.
I may just grab TOCA3, and to hell with the consequences of how long it takes me to download the title. I've just paid off a big debt, and our exchange rate has recovered a bit, so I can start buying stuff again now.
