Aliasalpha: Now I'm the last person to be optimistic but why does it have to be a bad thing that its a new team? Couldn't it be made up of a group of people who hated all the crappy changes in 3 (especially those transition areas!) and want to make it a smoother and more polished version of 1 or 2?

It can, but you know how that "new team takes over franchise" thing often ends up. Not saying it can't happen, but the new Deus Ex screenshots and fe4ture2 don't make me any more hopeful about Eidos Montreal's capability

Thief 4 would be nice. Thi4f frightens me a bit though. Am I to expect an option to pimp my thief and/or crib? Plausible? Yes. Desirable...yeano.

At least "Thiaf" is only a "working" title. So there's hope they might change it to something not completely stupid.

Am I the only person here who has not played thief 4 or seen any screenshots/videos/reviews?
Because I'd love to include myself in the justifiable bashing of all things Thief 4 related. If I tried to join in with you all now however, I'm afraid that everything I say will just be general bitching with no evidence to back it up. So if you could link all of the above I'd appreciate it.
