I myself am probably a rarity on gog. I have only been a PC gamer for about one and a half years. So when a game crops up that makes me feel nostalgic, I want it on gog! :D
So, I ask you, if you have heard of Zoombinis, or if you don't think you have, this video may jog your memory.
This post is just to try and let the gog team hear our voice! If you too are nostalgic towards this game, here's what to do:
1) Head over here: here, search for Zooombinis, and vote!
2) Flood this thread! (be nice, please)
I'll be keeping a count of the number of votes in this post.
Votes stand at 24 @4:17pm gmt, 13/05/09 (that's 05/13/09 if you're American)

I remember Zoombinis! One of the best games ever! Takes me back...
That video seems like an indictment of how capitalism works to me.

haha! :)
Just to be annoying, there isn't any good in game footage on youtube.
Logical Journey of the Zoombinis was one of my favorite games when I was younger.

hells yeah :P
Still fiendishly difficult on very very hard mode.
Certainly my favourite edutainment game of all time! :D
I spent hours of my childhood on that game... So many memories.
That and those JumpStart games.

Hey, I remember that game! Woo! Could never beat it, though.
Wow, spent a lot of time playing that on school computers many years ago. Was great stuff.
I've had to install a really early version of this game for a couple of primary schools in the past. It did not play nice with XP and a network environment (C:\ Access Restrictions). I think I ended up setting up a PC with win95 just so it would run as we did not have the budget to get an updated version.
Is there a big call for edutainment software here? It has popped up every couple of months. A lot of the early PC 'games' I remember were learning focused.

Although numerous sequels (and one remake, only available in the US) were made, they were all made by a different developer and could never recreate the magic of the original. That's what gog's for, right? Getting those old time classics up and running on our nice big modern rigs :)

Come to think of it, most games of my childhood were 'edutainment', but none could quite match up to the zoombinis. I remember having like the entire collection of DK Multimedia games :P. Though on reflection, I'd rather forget about them.
We've hit 20 votes! Guess that's the first milestone :)
Thanks to the 19 people who have voted so far!
