This is an awesome game that many many people cannot get working on modern systems, since it was made at an awkward time when folks were making the transition from DOS into Windows. Video card issues and the like abound.
If sometime in the future the GoG.com team could take a look over SS2 and see if it was possible to fix. If the could get it in the store and make it workable, I know a very large fraction of the retro gaming public would be extremely, extremely happy.

There are many games that people would like to see on GOG, and that GOG would like to be able to sell. SS2 is quite high on that list, but nothing can be done about bringing a game to GOG unless a publisher (along with whoever else holds distribution rights to a game) is willing to make a distribution agreement with GOG, so all that can be done is stand back and let the GOG folks do their thing in attempting to get more publishers on board.
Also, the place to express your desire for games to come to GOG is the Wishlist.

Yeah, obviously it was more eye-catching than the "Welcome, please read" thread. They should sticky it again.

Or change 'Welcome' thread to something simplier - like README ;)

Or "Read this, or else Weclock will come to your house the next time you sleep. Naked. Wearing a gasmask".

That's certainly a threat to be taken seriously ;-)
