I don't know if it has already been discussed, but all fans of ICO and Shadow of the Collosus must watch this teaser.
It looks fantastic, as always with ICO's team.
This game, as well as FFXIII, could really make me buy a PS3 (and a HD TV for that matter...).
Can't wait to see more about it.
PS: I'm not sure, but it seems that editing and background music (from Miller's Crossing if I'm not mistaken) has been put by PlaystationLifeStyle.net
I do not care for sequels to poorly-sold PS2 games.
Seriously, this is pretty cool. I missed out on ICO (I didn't have a sixth-gen console... ever) but I hope they bring this to the PC sometime in the near future. Like how Microsoft would always say Halo was an Xbox exclusive, and it would end up on the PC two years later.

I really doubt it, as ICO's team work for Sony.
Yeah Ico sounds like one of those Beyond Good & Evil type things, great game with awesome ideas that just came out at the wrong time of year and got lost amongst the crowd.
Is it on the playstation network as a downloadable game or is that just for PS1 stuff?

It's a PS2 game, so... suck on that.

I can't say, as I don't follow PSN news. And btw, ICO was a PS2 game.
Evidently I'm not explaining myself well. I know its a PS2 game, I know the PS3 has downloadable old games but I don't know if those are both PS1 AND PS2 or just PS1. Hence my question as to whether it was available by that method.

Oh ok, now I understand (I think ^^).
Well, it seems that, for now, there are only PS1 games. I guess that a 60Gb hard drive would be full to quickly with downloadable PS2 games.
If you own a PS2, Ico is one of the *must* have games. Especially if you're not in the US. (The US version is inferior to all other versions, manly because not only does it have the worst box art ever, but it also has the second play though and the alternate ending missing -- and more importantly, Yorda's speech never gets "translated".)
Wanda was a fairly good game but as far as I am concerned, it just wasn't anywhere near as good as Ico. As for whatever the 3rd one becomes, I'll be buying a copy no doubt about it.

Wow, didn't know about that US version... Happy to have my european collector edition ^^
I love ICO but I also love Shadow of the Colossus. For me, it's not the point if one is as good as the other, they are completely different games. I love ICO for the relationship between the characters, and the universe of course. In Colossus I really love the mix between epic battles and the calm and peaceful exploration aspect.
One universe, two brillant games (or "pieces of art" if I can say), and maybe a third one.

I've never seen ICO on sale in the days after I got my PS2 (late in the life cycle) but Shadows of the Colossus is excellent.
As for the Playstation Network's "PS1 Classics", here's a list of its games. Long story short: if you're not in Japan, you're almost out of luck:

I don't even own a PS3 but I've been interested ever since Brigandine came out in Japan. A friend owns it and it's excellent. But no dice on the North American re-release.

PS2's are relatively cheep at $100 plus games between $10 and $30.
