Yes, I want one.

No VIC-20? Damn it.
Ooh that is gorgeous. Not steampunk laptop level breathtaking gorgeous but gorgeous nonetheless
That is one clever guy.
I'd pay through the nose for one of them.
I once saw an A1200 made built into a briefcase in an ancient issue of Amiga Format. I wish I could find it, but that is very cool.
the protruding keys pose a risk to the screen, that's a terrible idea for a portable.
Excellent! I want one!

Hum... in case you haven't noticed, his goal was not to make a super-sleek and super-safe laptop, just a mix of an old C-64 and a portable, nothing more.
Anybody who has ever used a C-64 would be happy to use this with an old-fashion keyboard with big keys instead of extra-slim keybords of today.

if i added a screen to my old ZX spectrum it'd make a pretty good netbook....
and the rubber keys won't scratch the screen ;-)
(or work well).
A netbook without access to the net? I want one! Actually, I'd rather have a non-modded C64, but this is great.

I already own both an old (breadbox) and a new C64, as well as a C128. But this... Oh, how I want it!
The breadbox C64 was the best oen I think, wasn't really a fan of the laster revision (aside from the better heatsink)

There is actually an ethernet adaptor that someone made for the C64, I think it was cartridge based
I found it!
It was called Suzanne; it was actually a A600, not a A1200. Its pretty damn impressive for 1997. To correct my post earlier, it wasn't in Amiga Format either, but CU Amiga.

Wow that's nice!
BTW, have you seen the MiniMig? When you see the joystick port, you know how incredibly small this Amiga is -> gallery
And two other things I'd love to have also:
> The Darth64, a N64 portable
> The DreamTrooper, a Dreamcast portable

You see all these just make me think that if a manufacturing company were to take it upon themselves to miniaturise these older consoles, or in fact the current holders of the copyright etc, they could generate income from these old platforms. I know I'd defiantly buy all of those for good money.
