For me, like any other game, it will depend on how it looks; what the reviews are like; whether it is truly DRM-free. Cyberpunk seemed to show that we can't assume a new CDPR game will be a guaranteed slam-dunk any more. I am concerned about talk of SBI involvement - I dislike any sort of political messaging or interference in the creative process, in general. Any indication that the game is overly pushing some political agenda or not respectful of the vision and canon laid out in the Witcher book series source material would definitely put me off.

Btw, I still haven't yet even purchased/played W3. I loved the first Witcher game, but was a lot more mixed on Witcher 2. I will hopefully get into W3 at some point. Whenever W4 gets released, I won't be diving in right away - I'll probably wait several years and see how it looks and what sort of state it is in.
