James Horner - Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
I love the swashbuckler feeling of this score main theme, love the return of the opening notes from The Original Series and love how such a young composer like James Horner had balls to step into Jerry Goldsmith place and create such a great score in his own style.

IMHO it's even a better score than Star Trek II. And it has my favourite Horner's action/adventure cue ("Stealing the Enterprise").
