The Slitherine / Matrix Games connection to gOg makes it a possibility. I think?

I personally couldn't get into Harpoon 2 after playing gobs of the first game. But I revisited the first one a while back (I think it's available free and legal somewhere) and it didn't feel like it aged well.

Probably too niche of an appeal to come here, unfortunately.

checked it out and maybe i played harpoon 1 too so im glad if gog puts 1 in theire shop too . where did you find it for free i have been searching the web but can only find some one that bundles all versions and tries to sell it for 60 dollar??? yes my original copy i bought second hand too cause i never heard of it before there was a notice on a prick board in my local computerbookstore offering the basic game and 2 mission disks (amiga version so i cant load them on a pc;(), i thought ill give it a shot and it was a revelation such indepth strategy game. Btw i have bought the newest version command and .. or something but i miss the vector animations of missle hitting that first harpoon was a master piece.

Matrix Games had it for free for a while. Not finding it on their site except as part of that $60 Ultimate Edition.
