Everything Interplay 60% off | Price change incoming.

Ever had a really really cool staycation? You know, one where you get some time off just so that you can lock yourself in and chill by your favorite screen, armed with mountains of unwholesome snacks, several gallons of energizing beverages and the all-powerful A/C remote by your side? Well the Interplay Staycation is shaping up to be a pretty epic one!
These golden classics will soon have their prices increased so don't dally: grab them now for 60% off and prepare for a glorious house-sitting session.

You want to start with something that has oodles of atmosphere, intriguing story, and enough combat bits to keep you on your toes: Stonekeep, Lionheart or Lost Eden are all good warm-up choices. Now take the action up a notch with Earthworm Jim's wacky platforming, MDK's chaotic antics, Shogo's intense gunplay, or Freespace 2's magnificent explosions. Time to top if off with class: Treat yourself to the diverse and ridiculously entertaining Sacrifice and Giants: Citizen Kabuto, two unique gaming experiences that are enough to make this staycation totally worth it!

These are just some of the neat Interplay treasures on offer, though. There's also Toonstruck, Prehistorik 1+2, Redneck Rampage, plenty of Star Trek and more to choose from!

The special Interplay Staycation Sale will last until July 31, 3 PM UTC.

The price change on the Interplay catalog will be applied after the sale is concluded.
And broken.

Interplay does it again. That is, Steam price-matching.

It's gotta have something to do with this - https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2016/09/07/870242/10165014/en/Interplay-Announces-Sale-of-Significant-IP-Portfolio-Wedbush-Securities-as-Strategic-Advisor.html

They've been dumping titles onto Steam for months now, including some already here on GOG and some not (go figure, I guess), with inflated pricing as well. (What follows below is purely speculation, as no one has reported anything concrete about what's happened with that sale)

Since the sale was (allegedly) a "buy it all" type of deal, this must mean they either finally have a serious buyer eyeing it and they're attempting to squeeze everything out of those titles while they can OR no fish took the bait for the sale and they're now attempting to increase the cash flow into the company to try and prevent it from belly flopping back into bankruptcy status again.

They increase the prices again???

Glad I already own everything.

Edit: Just realized that I don't own everything. Will probably pick up Ignition, Lost Eden and Of Light and Darkness.

I find it curious that Subwar 2050 is published by Interplay. It seems they acquired the rights to it in 2009 together with M1 Tank Platoon games. So perhaps we'll see the latter released here some day. They also haven't brought Ugh! here yet.
Damn, I don't want them for such price :( I really regret I've postponed buying some titles when Interplay Bundle was available here... :(

An idea of what price hikes you can expect: http://store.steampowered.com/search/?sort_by=Released_DESC&term=Interplay

I'm looking forward to seeing Interplay trying to sell Redneck Rampage Collection for $20 with a straight face.

Woaow woaow woaow.
I wasn't thinking it would be that much increase. Woaow.

But this is insane. Are they really expecting selling games ??

By the way, I don't know if this sale is initiated by GOG, but thanks for the warning and the sale. I was able to purchase Ignition that I really wanted, before it may increase to 10€.

Earthworm Jim 3D for €19.99 is a great joke. And wasn't Messiah (which is buggy as hell) originally $5.99 (before the first price hike). Selling it for €14.99 now would be quite brazen.
And where's the usual 90% off Interplay discount ?

It's €19.99 for all 3 games; you can't (unfortunately) buy them separately on Steam.
