Civil warfare blues.

Rogue Trooper Redux, the visually remastered cult classic shooter, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com.
One of the most celebrated cover-based shooters of the past decade just got a new coat of blue paint over its bulging muscles and is ready to enter the fray once more. In this futuristic story, you play as a genetically engineered soldier destined to tip the scales in the civil war that's tearing apart the heavily polluted Nu Earth.

Upgrade to the Collector's Edition to get:

- The original 21-track Rogue trooper soundtrack!
- An exclusive Rogue trooper comic, inspired by the game
- 2 sets of HD desktop wallpapers

£20 + £5 for a game I already have, thanks for the first laugh of the day. Is the dev beamdog?
Again with Devs/pubs charging for the goodies GOG has typically given away for free. Sad, really. I know it's their right, but still. On older titles like this there isn't any excuse except trying to wring as much cash as possible out of a fan base looking to support you.

Seems awfully pricey for a remaster of a game that's been heavily discounted many times in the past, but it seems like a lot has been done to the release other than a few touch ups:

ROGUE, REMASTERED A classic returns with HD graphics, remodelled assets, dynamic lighting, enhanced geometry, new special effects and more. New features also include modern controls, extra difficulty settings and a revamped cover system.

So I can appreciate that much. What I really appreciate seeing is the original still for sale. I wish we'd see that more often after a remaster comes out.

At least there is a Collectors edition which includes them.
Tell me this have controller support.
Although I do like shooters a lot, how come I have never heard of this "cult classic shooter" before?

Because reasons.

Anyway, the original wasn't bad but I don't need a remaster in my life.

Dammit I was going to make that joke...
Crap, were there preorder exclusives?
25$, i hope owners of the original get a discount. But seriously the original is still up so people should grab that while it still is, unless 2000's graphics make you quake with fear. I could go on about the price and stuff being tripled, but honestly every other goglite (gogite?)((goglin?)) (((good old gamer??))) is going to do my job for me.

Edit: Sorry Tick Tock Games. I dont have enough disposable income for your rework, which does look good, but Im' glad I can at least grab the old one. And i hope it does remain an option for other minimum wage gamers.

Glad it stopped to 3. ;)
I do not own the original so think I might put this on my wishlist (where it probably will stay for quite a while). To me it looks like a lot of game for the money.
