Whoa, I've got a tough decision now: Sudden Strike 4 or Steel Division: Normandy 44? Steel Division is out and got very good reviews, I watched a ton of it on Twit4ch and I love the gameplay.

On the other hand - is Sudden Strike's gameplay more similiar to Company of Heroes (1/2)? I adore CoH 2 and it's gameplay. Please help me decide! :)

These preorder bonuses look very tempting as well.

Pause & Play, nice.
I hope this ends up to be a good solid game.

Not going to order it today as I find the price way too high for a game I am not dying for.
Never a huge fan of the series (I owned some of them), but they are solid games.

I can't wait for Spring 2017 for the game to be released.
I'm not normally one to rage about pricing on here but damn, that one's just utterly ridiculous. Too bad, because I really enjoyed the original Sudden Strike game.

Edit: Waiting for the originals to become available separately.

The Sudden Strike trilogy will be made available to download before that time.

In other words: you'll get the original trilogy when it's released for sale or some time sooner. It's not available yet.

What engine does Sudden Strike 4 use?
Sudden Strike 4 uses the Unity 3D engine.

Not worth the money . Wait for the Gog version of the first 3 games .

While it looks great, the current market practices made me lose my interest in newer releases (but at the same time, i want CKII released on GOG -- stupidity or what?); too many overpriced games that get even more overpriced because of the multitude of DLCs. I'm interested in it, but i'm not making any.. sudden moves, not until i see what/how many DLC will it generate.

I was going to buy Sudden Strike 4 but because of Tropico 5 I'm not going to.
I'm very glad to see that Sudden Strike is finally here. However, as others have pointed out before me, it's not very clear that the first 3 games will also be released here. Can some blue guy clarify this issue?

Have to agree, Unity engine is pure shit, terrible performance that makes even the best GPU's get ridiculously hot, screen tearing even when Vsync is on, memory leaks after playing for a few hours, atrocious loading times. That engine was infuriating even in Wasteland 2, a turn-based game, God knows what it would be like in a fast-paced RTS.
I've been eyeing this since I saw it available at Steam. My hopes were to see it released here as well so I could buy it from the better store. While I've never played a Sudden Strike game, the Let's Play footage I've seen make it look like a series right up my alley. Happy to see it here! :D
