I've noticed that some games have installers that ignore the decision to not create a desktop icon. We Happy Few, Shadow Warrior 2, 8-Bit Armies, and Titan Quest have all done this, and I doubt they're the only ones. The box is unchecked in the installation options, but the icons are made anyway. Has anyone else experienced this? It's not a big deal, but it is a little annoying and it makes me wonder if any of the Galaxy installers could end up ignoring it if a user tries to opt-out of the client being installed.
That it happens to some games but my guess is the installer has issues due to them making 2 split options. eh one more thing to delete or not, not a problem :P

There was some off-topic chatter about this in the update thread (including the Galaxy installer comment ;)), but I don't know if it was reported or even mentioned in The "what did just break" thread 2.0.
