When creating my original account I used the email robbiedude9@gmail.com. This was at a time when I was immature and obviously made shitty email accounts. This was so long ago I deleted this email! Now, when I try to access my GOG account it asks me to go through the two step verification. I can't do this as they are sending the codes to the email i deleted and no longer exists. Now what? Have I lost my account and games forever now? I can't change emails as it wants me to access my old email account in order to do this. I can't even disable the two step verification as again it needs my old email.

I'm going to be so pissed if i have lost everything over somethign stupid I did.

Contact support, they should normally be able to help you out:

Of course you'll need to give them some proof that you are the owner of that account but you and them should be able to work something out.

What is with so many of this "lost email account" posts popping up? Talk to support, they might be able to help... might.

I feel like such a clean freak knowing that I have had the same email account for 15 yrs, keep every receipt and change my password every few months.

It seems that gmail reduced the amount of time to store deleted accounts from 5 years to 2-3 weeks

That's because two step verification was switched to on by default on all accounts recently unless you opted out actively.

Not to be an asshole, but I seriously don't get how you can have an active account anywhere hooked up to a defunct e-mail account. It's like having a lamp without a lightbulb and wondering what the heck the problem is.

Oh I forgot about that. It has brought out a fair amount of twits, that's for sure. I don't get it either.
