ideamonster: Hello, friends!

Unfortunately, GOG has rejected Code 7 for being too niche. So we will aim to release on Steam and Humble Store for now. We can still make it happen if we have enough votes on the wishlist:

On another notice: To everyone who played Code 7 - Episode 0, could you do us a favor and fill out our feedback form? It would be much appreciated and helps us improving the next episode :)

I gave my vote, but it looks like only #33. I will keep an eye out for your finished product. :)

Of course they did... *sigh*... Gog, whatcha doing?
Oh well, as long as there's a drm-free release via humble (or other means of distribution), I guess I'll live.

I sometimes think Gog is taking that boutique approach a bit too literally (as in, there are limited items on offer, half of them don't fit you, and you can get a similar product cheaper elsewhere).
Alas, that's how it is.
Happy New Year's Eve regardless.
Voted. GOG needs actually good games like it.
Hi.

What about soundtrack?
If this game will come to gog, will soundtrack be as a goodie, as a dlc or non at all?

<span class="bold">Voted</span>

Oh and Happy New year everyone :)

I am truly sorry to hear this. The prologue is stellar in and of itself. I can't even imagine how great the full game will be. To hear that GOG doesn't think it's a good fit for their customers is just a shame. Regardless, I will be purchasing the game on whatever DRM-Free distributor you choose on Day One. Heck, I'll probably even pre-order it. :P

I actually already filled it out when I saw you tweet the link yesterday. I have also added my vote to the GOG wishlist.

The same to you, the rest of the Code 7 crew and all of your families! I hope 2017 proves to be a very prosperous year for you all! I hope you'll still come around the GOG forums from time to time. ^_^
Code 7 looks really awesome.

I'll keep an eye out on Steam for the full release. I got Episode 0, very much my kind of game.

Happy New Year!
Thank you everyone for your support! :)
I really appreciate it!!

I'm positive that after gaining some popularity on Steam and Humble after release, GOG might reconsider, but let's see...

The soundtrack is already available on iTunes, Google Play and Spotify and will be sold as DLC when possible. There will also probably a Deluxe Version with some bonus stuff and the soundtrack!

Indeed sad to read this.

*Too niche*. I suppose that's a nice way of saying, *Your product does not appeal to the age-group we're aiming at.*

Oh, and Happy New Year!

That's good. I like when games have soundtracks and additional bonus stuff :)

Aww, that's too bad! I just found out about this game today and it looks really cool! Will you resend it in? Maybe GOG will give it another chance.

Will the Humble version be DRM-free?

A happy and successful new year to you and your co-developers as well. :)

Fairfox: Please tell me they didn't act. use "niche" as their rejection word...
I don't know the exact wording, because my colleague Kevin got the mail and just told my about it.

We'll try again a couple of months after release. GOG is our player's most wanted platform after Steam :)

Thank you, happy new year to you, too! :)
