Leonard03: hokey smokes 6 page already, ok here we go...
If you find it too much, you can go to Settings to increase the number of posts per page from 20 to 50.
That way you will only have 3 pages instead of 6 to read, so it should go much faster.

Bookwyrm627: Wow, the Town Arsonist was 24 games and 2 years ago. How the time flies.
Wait. Are you for real? Oh boy, I feel old. I wonder how long it's been since I played last.

avatar
Bookwyrm627: Ah, Adalia, I've missed you. With you and Yog gone, there hasn't been anyone around to really indulge in the bloodlust with.
Were'd yog go anyways?

avatar
adaliabooks: He's last to show, and you know what they say "Last to post in the game thread gets brutally murdered and has their head cut open!"
And who is the "they" exactly? Is it perhaps... THE MANY????

That is both useful, and not at all useful at the same time. :P

Vote: dedoporno

Don't think anyone's done that yet.

Sage103082: Why are you guys self voting? guilty conscience ?

Bookwyrm627: I thought I saw something.

Do you mind voting me for a bit?
So what was this all about?
Don’t want to miss out on fun so
Unvote adalia

I'm off to play the new South Park game :-D
avatar
adaliabooks: Well being fairly anti monarchy I wouldn't actually have any issue with that.

Enjoy :)

Krypsyn: (possibly a semblance of accurate this time)
Nope. HypersomniacLive should have 0 votes, not 2. At least I got the underlining right.

Seeing HypersomniacLive and me as the only ones without a vote cast gives me a sort of cherry cordial feeling on the inside.

Or else my brain has melted.....did someone melt my brain??

You and me both. And, boy, were we wrong. It seems one shouldn't mess with the mod.

OK, OK, I got it, sheesh...

I was going to ask how Krypsyn knew that my vote isn't valid but it seems he didn't, so never mind that.

@adalia, what now?

Leonard, old buddy, old pal!

Sorry about the whole trying to get you killed thing (maybe you haven't read that far yet?)

Unvote Leonard

It appears everyone is here at least then.

Kill someone and cut out their brain, obviously.

Still working on the 'someone' part though.

in german we have this unword "sozialverträgliches frühableben" which roughly translates to socially responsible earlier dying... Soo, are you reconsidering any suicide attempts perchance? For the greater good? ;)

Not me, but if you wish to put your name in the hat I'd be fine with that ;)

adaliabooks: So since this is an open set up lets do a little pondering;

Starting numbers are;
2 Cyborgs (Shodan’s Children)
2 Mutants (The Many)
3 Hackers (Masons)
5 Townies

Very worst case (but highly unlikely) scenario is that both scum teams successfully convert two townies the first two nights. Which would mean Day 3 with 4 Cyborgs, 4 Mutants, 3 Hackers and 1 Townie (minus two lynches on whoever they hit) and I don't think town could survive that situation (though I suppose stranger things have happened...).
Fortunately that case is a very very edge case as the convert shots are a risky move for scum with a 50% chance of not only failure, but death, on the first night at least. So we may never even see them get used depending how the game plays out.

But even with out the convert shots we're looking at two NKs a night which means 3 deaths per day/night cycle (assuming we don't no lynch and both scum teams hit different targets) so we're looking at likely 4 game days, though there are quite a few variables to that.

We have a very useful guaranteed town voting block in those three masons, but their use is severely limited (at least in the first few days) by the fact that them claiming means they will either be quickly NK'd or the plain Townies become easier to convert for scum.
So we want as many of them to survive till the end game as possible, both to give scum something to think about when trying to use their converts and to have some guaranteed town on the board for the final day or two (which tend to be the hairiest).

So in conclusion... try not to lynch any of the masons and force them to claim.
Just curious, do you think it is highly likely that scum teams would go all in on day 1? Let’s consider a few scenarios based on who gets lynched on day 1:
1. Town mislynch - Increaases the risk of entire team dying for scums if they go all in. (28 percent chance)
2. Hacker mislynch - Decreases the risk of entire team dying (16 percent chance)
3. No lynch - an unlikely case but still carries moderate risk for going all in (22 percent chance)
4. Scum team - Same risk as hacker case except here the team with one member short has no other option left I guess whereas the other team can afford to be more prudent

The way I see it only case 2 would spur scum to go all in. Just what I think at this point, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong in my assumptions or logic.

When you say "all in" what exactly are you referring to?
