Stig79: Their next victim is Bioware. Mark my words.

drmike: This is what we're thinking over on swtor. They announced a few weeks ago server merging:

And backlash over their silly naming:

http://dulfy.net/2017/10/04/swtor-hot-prospect-server-renamed-due-outrage/
That backlash reeks of snowflake mentality. Outrage just for the sake of outrage. Outrage and victimhood seems to have become the number one currency on the internet. They should have kept the name on pure principle.

Stig79: The sad part is that people will be pissed off at EA for a few weeks, but they will be back buying their games ASAP. Ea has done this sort of thing 20 times now? It has never lead to any kind of negative consequence for EA in the slightest. They will keep doing this stuff, and they will get away with it. Gamers forget things fast.

Their next victim is Bioware. Mark my words. The Creative Director of Dragon Age just quit Bioware. I think he was the last one left of the people who made the great Bioware games back in the day.

nightcraw1er.488: Well dragon age 2 was a totall shower of shite, inquisition was better but turned into an "open world" grindfest mmo style. A quick look shows they have done anything since dragon age origins of any note.
That would be because EA was looking over their shoulder. DA2 had some good ideas, but it got rushed out the door by EA to score some quick bucks.

Inquisition actually started as an MMO, but they turned it into a single player game later on in the development. And it shows.

Maighstir: So where did he go instead?
Saw something about him focusing on streaming games and stuff.
