Tactile feel.
Ah, of course.

Some generic DELL keyboard I snatched from the workplace (it was going to trashbin for some reason, so I took it; yes I had a permission to do it, there was a sign "Please take any you want").

I mainly like it because it has a nice rotational knob to control audio volume, I don't have to touch the speaker or Windows volume controls. I guess the feel is good enough for me, at least i am kicking ass in TeamFortress 2 with it, and writing extraordinarily great messages like this one.

Not many keyboard memories, but:

1. Yeah I faintly remember as a wee kid using one of those original IBM keyboards which give that distinctive "click" sound when you push a key all the way down. They were kinda nice, but maybe nowadays such constant clicking sounds would get on my nerves when playing FPS games and such.

2. I will always remember the adverts for those "Optimus" or whatever keyboards they were, where every key on the keyboard has its own "screen", meaning each key symbol can be reprogrammed to show whatever you want. I always wanted one, but then they were (and are?) so expensive that nah.

A twenty years old Dell that came with the office computer an aquaintance bought and retired long ago. It has started to show wear as I have to press fairly precisely on the keys now for a clean stroke. My previous one was totally rubbish that I bought dirt cheap (less than €10) to replace the lovely one I had given to my parents as mum used to type a lot. It angers me that it now has languished for six years unused in a warehouse <grumbles>.

Got me a LED Backlit RedDragon mechanical keyboard (K556) with brown switches. It has some blue ones you can sub out, but the brown ones work fine for me..

I love it. It is probably the best keyboard I have owned in m adult life.. No ghosting, no problems, lights up well with customizable patterns.... It's really pretty awesome.

I'm not that old... am I? Nor am I very young, for that matter. I got my first computer at 10 years old, and since then I've practically been glued to the screen and keyboard. Given the statement in my previous post, you can figure out my approximate age.

I use an ergo keyboard; it's easier on my wrists. Currently it's a Microsoft 4000.

Logitech K280e - I love those silent low-profile keys (laptop type). Great keyboard with nice palm rest, using it for two years now, with no problems so far. Not a fan of mechanical keyboards.

I have always been fond of Daskeyboard Ultimate.

Got Xarmor U9WL with blue cherries, which is fine except it having 3KRO because of wireless - but its the only issue to complain about.

The future one is gonna be Cherry MX Board 3 with blue cherries (again).

I haven't been fond of that price tag. :b

I've been curious about ergs, but not too curious. Are there some which are just gimmicks?

I see. I was using a Kensington Expert Trackball for a while, and I feel that was certainly nicer than a mouse. :B

I do use a Kensington Expert Mouse at home (yes, that's the name, despite definitely being a trackball), since I can barely use a mouse due to shoulder problems. At work I use a Contour RollerMouse Pro (that's not a mouse either but a ... roller bar?).

I got a Tesoro Gram Spectrum black, with red switches. Pretty happy with it, especially with the 23% discount that I've found. I love the low profile, its simple design and metallic plate.
