I just got a brand new Unicomp Buckling spring keyboard! What keyboard are you currently using? Any specific keyboarding memories?

Well, I'm having a not so pleasant one right now... :\
Logitech G105 Gaming Keyboard

the keys light up! :D

The WASD keys are also a different color to make finding them easier I guess.
Weird how you guys both posted keyboard related threads at the same time.

I'm using a Logitech G11 which I bought years ago, although I just recently grabbed a Gskill Ripjaws KM780 RGB keyboard with Cherry brown switches.
At the moment? I'm at work, heading home in a couple minutes, so a rather shitty HP-branded thing with model number KU-0316.
I'm using a Chicony KB-9850. I got it from the place I worked 15 years ago as it was going to be thrown out, because even back then it was already old as hell. It's stayed with me ever since, surviving a series of PCs, monitors and mice, but the keyboard stays the same. I like it, and it works perfectly, so I have never seen any reason to buy a new one.

It's a wired PS/2 keyboard, and it looks almost exactly like this (sorry for the small image, but it's the best I can find of that exact model), only with Danish layout, and much, much dirtier.

An ancient cherry one. Clickety-clack.

Same keyboard.
And don't forget the macro keys. They are great.
Keys are not too great though.
But then good mechanical gaming keyboards cost a lot.
IBM Model M.
I'd get one with a black chassis from Unicomp if their current black LED overlays didn't look like crap. The UB20416 model looked great, but they didn't make many of those.

I've never used them.

Have you ever had a problem with the Space Bar squeaking?

Spacebar squeaking? no. But it's somewhat wobbly.

The macro keys come in handy. If you use the Logitech gaming software.
Not sure about the brand, but I'm using this here thing:

Where did you get Ace Frehley's keyboard?

Does he know you have it?
I have two keyboards attached. I'm writing this with a 1988 IBM Model M. Pleasing to type on if you like to make some noise.

The other keyboard is a Filco Majestouch-2 Tenkeyless Tactile Action (cherry browns), modded with o-rings to muffle the sound of bottoming the keys. I'm not sure if that was a good idea - it made it feel much more like a rubber dome - but it's still a great keyboard and I use it for most of my gaming.
