It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Just download more internet speed.
More money usually means more speed
Turn off (stop>disable in Settings) Windows Update, Update Orchestrator, Delivery Optimization, Xbox Live Auth Manager, Windows Backup. These hog your internet when they are active (running).

Now go download those programs. When you are done, go back to Settings and set those system programs to Automatic and click the OK (re-enable them).

I have a slower ISP than you (1mb/s) so I need all the internet "tubes" I can get! LOL

BeatriceElysia: Have no idea...

But here's speed test done by one web page
Nice, that's helpful information. Looks like you're downloading at full speed from GOG (that is, the speed at which you download from GOG is roughly the same as what you get on the speed test site). If you want faster Internet you'll need to arrange for an upgrade from your ISP.

That's assuming, of course, that you're currently paying for a ~12Mb/s connection. If you're actually paying for something faster then you're not getting full speed and it's worth figuring out why.

What speed is your ISP currently promising you?
GOG's servers are ... not great.

Cadaver747: GOG Galaxy download speed is significantly higher than downloading from browser. For browser you may use specific download manager (Google it). No other ways i know of.
I got the opposite experience. Downloading by browser is faster for me. *shrug*
